ch-ch-ch-changes..

so unexpectedly, I moved this weekend.

just across the parking lot of my apartment complex, but it was an ordeal. Megan and I decided to move from our little one bedroom to a two bedroom/almost three bedroom. (it has this wierd extra space off the master bedroom that our friend Dawne is going to move into) I thought it would be an easier move than the last couple ones I've done, but it probably was the hardest. simply because it didn't necessitate a truck and all that... but that also meant a lot of manual labor.

12 hours later.... we got all our stuff into the new place.

I'm still unpacking stuff, trying to figure out where everything should go. But it will be nice to have my own room, as well as two bathrooms.

I'm so glad for vacation this weekend!!

So this year, to fit with my new goal to go to culinary school, I've been wanting to purchase cookbooks, culinary manuals, etc,etc, one a month.
I meant to purchase on in January, but it just didn't happen.

It will give me some inspiration to consider for my future. I just wish that I knew what I wanted to DO with my life. Sometimes I feel like I just like too many things--travel, culture, reading, food, art, fashion, medical field, music.....

Why couldn't I just be a genius at one thing??


Who knows, maybe I'll figure it out someday.

where does the time go

seriously! it's already February. I really can't believe it's been 6 months since i moved here.

i was talking with a friend today about the fact that i will be 25 years old in just a few months. it just seems surreal sometimes... i feel like i was just 18... 21... you know.

i have so many more things i want to do... things that i will do.

I have no idea who Bo Bennett is, but I loved the quote. it's so true. i'm such a dreamer, a schemer, always thinking about the next thing. but i have to stop thinking at some point, and start acting upon those dreams.
